Mr. Hagerman has participated as a lecturer at conferences and seminars in Mexico and the United States on matters related to foreign trade, foreign investment, customs law, and other aspects of Mexican law, particularly those related to corporate law. Mr. Hagerman currently teaches Law.

EXPERIENCIA PROFESIONAL: . Mariana cuenta con amplia experiencia en derecho corporativo y más de 9 años de experiencia en el sector Telecomunicaciones.
Especialista en temas de Regulación Internacional, ha asistido a clientes en diversas Consultas y Licitaciones Públicas en Centro América, Caribe y Colombia.
Ha participado en transacciones de M&A de operadores extranjeros liderando al equipo de abogados desde la auditoria hasta el cierre de la transacción; entre ellos, participó activamente en la operación de adquisición simultánea que hizo América Móvil de Digicel en El Salvador, Honduras y su cesión en Jamaica. Como participante de distintos foros internacionales de Telecomunicaciones (UIT, CITEL, GSMA, 4G Americas y Ahciet), ha trabajado en la elaboración de múltiples propuestas, estudios e indicadores en la materia.
Mariana Cuadriello también asiste a sus clientes en procesos de auditoría corporativa, revisión, negociación y celebración de todo tipo de contratos.

Graduated in Law Degree from the Technological University of Mexico (2003) and Master of Administrative Law and Economic Regulation by the ITAM (2013) with the thesis "Regulatory Analysis of the fixing mechanism of Prices and Rates from Electricity Sector".
Katia has extensive experience in the electricity sector, access to public information and personal data protection.
She worked as an associate of the firm Vadillo & Co. (1999-2003). She worked in public administration for a period of 12 years: Federal Electricity Commission (2003-2012) as head of the legal department of the Liaison Unit for Access to Information; at the Federal Institute of Access to Information and Data Protection as Subdirector of Regulatory Foresight and at the President's Office as Subdirector of Personal Data. Also she worked for the Company Grupo Fármacos Especilizados as Manager of Personal Data Protection.
Katia currently serves as Associate Sr. in the area of regulatory law and administrative law, reviewing public works contracts, from bidding to the implementation phase thereof; review, negotiation and conclusion of all types of contracts.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Mrs. Vargas has worked both in Mexico City and in New York providing general corporate law advise, creation and liquidation of companies, corporate maintenance; she has participated in arbitration under the CANACO, ICC and NASD rules, she has also represented companies in administrative procedures before de Federal Tribunal for Tax and Administrative Matters, companies and banks in civil and commercial procedures, special mortgage foreclosure procedures, reorganization proceedings, executive summary proceedings both before state and federal courts; amparo proceedings as well as international litigation.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY: Mrs. Vargas is currently adjunct professor of Introduction to Law at the Escuela Libre de Derecho and professor or Corporate Law at ITAM; she has also participated as speaker and mediator in Center for International Legal Studies conferences and has published articles on reorganization proceedings, cross border insolvency, execution of foreign judgments and commercial pledges, in legal periodicals.

Jose Fernando Bastida Picazo ›

Mr. Fernando Bastida is a graduate of the College of Law at the Universidad Anáhuac México Norte where he was noted for his outstanding academic performance. On various occasions he received the academic excellence award and at the end of his professional studies he was recognized by the National Evaluation Center (CENEVAL) who awarded him the EGEL Excellence Award for his high score on the bachelor's-level graduate exam. Professionally, Fernando Bastida has focused his practice in the area of litigation, particularly administrative and constitutional. He has had the chance to work in prestigious international firms such as Baker & Mackenzie and López Velarde, Heftye & Soria.
Currently, Fernando Bastida is a junior associate at Hagerman Abogados in the area of Administrative and Constitutional Litigation. He recently led an administrative litigation case that resulted in the assignment of a public works agreement worth over US$300 million.

Throughout her time she has strengthened her legal vocabulary for drafting bylaws, agreements, minutes, and other legal documents needed for the activities of a corporation.
